ANDOVER, MA — Fundraising in the Democratic primary for Massachusetts’ 6th Congressional District continues to accelerate, with former White House official and Andover native Dan Koh reporting more than $1 million raised during the second quarter while state Rep. Tram Nguyen announced the strongest fundraising quarter of her campaign.
The announcements come less than two months before the Sept. 1 Democratic primary to succeed U.S. Rep. Seth Moulton, who is running for the U.S. Senate. The open-seat race has drawn one of the state’s most competitive congressional primaries.
Koh’s campaign said it raised more than $1 million between April and June, bringing its fundraising total to more than $4.5 million since launching the campaign. The campaign said it has received more than 12,000 contributions, with a median donation of $15 and supporters from every city and town in the district.
