CORALVILLE, Iowa (KCRG) – An eastern Iowa man was arrested on the Fourth of July after an officer and a witness say he nearly hurt multiple people on his pontoon boat.
Damon Bowman, 51, faces preliminary charges of disorderly conduct, public intoxication and operating a motorboat/sailboat while intoxicated.
Around 3:30 p.m., the Iowa DNR was called to Bohemie Beach at the Coralville Reservoir for an erratic boater. A witness said Bowman nearly hit children swimming near the beach and hit another boat’s anchor line…
