Rising eight stories at 498 Columbia Street, the building is the largest of Columbia Commons, the first modern large-scale residential development in the waterfront neighborhood, according to the New York Real Estate Journal. New Yorkers earning 40, 60, and 100 percent of the area median income can apply for the apartments, priced from $777/month studios to $2,668/month two-bedrooms.
