Rivers Avenue traffic stop leads to Charleston man’s arrest on gun, drug charges

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) — A man was arrested Thursday on multiple gun and drug charges following a traffic stop on Rivers Avenue, according to the North Charleston Police Department.

Carlos Jerideau was arrested and charged with possession of a weapon during a violent crime, unlawful possession of a handgun, trafficking cocaine base, possession of cocaine and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
