Madison County church plans to rebuild after severe flooding

MADISON COUNTY, Ky. ­— More than a week after severe flash flooding hit parts of Kentucky, members of Million Church in Madison County are planning to rebuild after floodwaters swept the church off its foundation in the Tate’s Creek community.

Some areas of the state saw as much as 8 inches of rain in a short period of time. A state of emergency was declared, and at least four people were killed, including three in Madison County.
