Families can celebrate National Ice Cream Day at Woodside Farm Creamery on Sunday, July 19, with new ice cream flavor samples, farm tours, children’s activities, an ice cream eating contest benefiting the Food Bank of Delaware.
Family Fun, New Flavors, and Giving Back Come Together During Sweet Summer Celebration
National Ice Cream Day is the perfect excuse to enjoy a scoop or two, and Woodside Farm Creamery is inviting the community to celebrate with an afternoon filled with family fun, delicious treats, and a chance to give back. The celebration will take place on Sunday, July 19, from noon to 4 p.m. at the creamery’s farm, located at 378 North Star Road in Newark.
Guests of all ages can enjoy a variety of activities throughout the afternoon, beginning with farm tours that offer a behind-the-scenes look at one of Delaware’s favorite ice cream destinations. Visitors will also have the opportunity to sample the creamery’s newest ice cream flavors before casting a vote for their favorite.
