SHERWOOD, Ark.- According to Sherwood Mayor Mary Jo Heye-Townsell, somebody placed a large firework in a swing set designed for disabled children at Lake Cherrywood Park’s playground.
“I got a call early this morning by the police chief letting me know that late last night we had an incident involving fireworks where our new playground at Lake Cherrywood was specifically targeted and it set it on fire,” said Mayor Heye-Townsell.
