Woman arrested for 2020 crash that killed two in St. Louis County

FLORISSANT, Mo.  — A woman wanted in connection to a 2020 crash that killed two, including her 12-year-old nephew, has been arrested after almost five years on the run, the U.S. Marshals Service said.

According to the St. Louis County Police Department, Jiya Thomas-Felix was driving at high speeds in December 2020 when she lost control of her car and crashed, killing two passengers inside.

An arrest warrant was issued Dec. 8, 2021, but the St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office requested help from the U.S. Marshals Service after that warrant remained outstanding for almost five years…
