WASHINGTON (7News) — A woman riding a mobility scooter was seriously hurt Sunday night after she was struck by a drunk driver near the National Mall.
The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) said the crash happened around 9:02 p.m. at the intersection of 14th Street and Independence Avenue SW.
