MARIAVILLE, N.Y. (NEWS10)– On Thursday, the Schenectady County Sheriff’s Office began investigating a serious one-car crash on Mariaville Road. According to deputies, a female sustained severe injuries in the crash.

According to the sheriff’s office, they were dispatched to Mariaville Road just east of the Levey Road intersection around 7:44 a.m., for reports of a serious crash. Upon arrival, they found a car in the woods and an unresponsive female inside.
Deputies said the female, who was the only person involved, was found severely injured and had to be extracted from the car. She was then airlifted to Albany Medical Center, where she underwent surgery and is now stablized.
Members of the Schenectady County Unified Communications Center, Duanesburg Ambulance (DVAC), Mariaville Fire, the New York State Police, the Niskayuna and Schenectady Police Departments assisted deputies at the scene…
