PHILMONT, N.Y. (NEWS10) — Dozens of seniors were displaced last Thursday after a burst sprinkler main caused major damage at a Richardson Hall, a Philmont housing complex.

“It was scary, but it wasn’t you know… I was worried about the other people with their health,” said Debora Grau, Richardson Hall resident.
Grau has lived at Richardson Hall for more than 10 years. She says she was forced to leave last Thursday and stay with family.
“It’s not an ideal situation. My daughter-in-law has three children. I’m sleeping as best as I can. My cats are up there with her animals,” said Grau…
