CHARLESTON COUNTY, S.C. (WCIV) — Charleston County Elections is encouraging residents of all ages to get involved in the democratic process through a series of new and expanded outreach initiatives, including the return of its annual “I Voted!” Sticker Design Contest and the growth of its voter ambassador programs.
Now in its fourth year, the sticker contest is open to Charleston County students entering kindergarten through 12th grade. The submission period opened Saturday and runs through Sept. 4 at noon. Entries may be submitted by mail, email or in person at the Charleston County Elections office and designated drop-off locations.
Winning designs will be printed and distributed during the early voting period for this fall’s general election while supplies last. Selected artists will also receive prize packs featuring items from Charleston County Elections and local businesses. Contest rules are available at CHSVotes.gov…
