The numbers add up. Along with the 12 DUI arrests, the operation produced two felony arrests and nine misdemeanor arrests. Deputies also handed out 26 criminal citations, 59 traffic citations, and 47 traffic warnings, according to PBSO.
It wasn’t just cars deputies were watching. The DUI Unit also teamed up with the PBSO Marine Unit for a Fourth of July boating enforcement push on the water. That joint effort led to one BUI arrest, sheriff’s officials said.
