The Arc of Chester County is empowering individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to find their voice, advocate for their rights, and create meaningful change through its Self-Determination Subcommittee.
Operating in partnership with the Chester County MH/IDD Self-Determination Committee, the Self-Determination Subcommittee focuses on education, advocacy, and action related to issues impacting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, including Autism.
The committee serves as a platform for self-advocates to learn, connect, and engage in efforts that promote equality, inclusion, and greater independence.
