CHENEY, Wash. — Cheney’s largest water-producing well suffered a mechanical failure this weekend, resulting in an emergency irrigation restriction while repairs take place, the city said in a release.
City officials said work to repair the well’s pump drive shaft could take up to three weeks depending on replacement parts.
