We got soaked today. And it’s worth knowing that when it comes to flooding, Berkshire County isn’t as safe as people think.

Adams actually has the worst flood risk increase of any inland town in Massachusetts. Heavy rain and rising river levels have pushed the town’s flood danger past what federal officials originally predicted. Days like today are exactly the kind of weather that risk is based on.
