Bosnian restaurant near Grand Rapids announces closure

WYOMING, Mich. (WOOD) — After more than two decades, Bosna Express in Wyoming is closing its doors.

The family-owned restaurant on 28th Street SW near Buchanan Avenue SW announced its closure Monday evening in a social media post, saying it was time to retire and thanking the community for the support. Bosna Express served authentic Bosnian cuisine, according to its website, with offerings like gyros, shish kebabs and lepinja.

The 2,460-square-foot building was listed for sale for $495,000. The listing is marked as “pending.”
