KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) — The pre-sale for tickets to a musical based on the life of country music star Dolly Parton is set to begin on Wednesday.
The fan pre-sale and the Capital One pre-sale for “DOLLY: A True Original Musical” are set to run from 10 a.m. Wednesday to 9:59 a.m. Friday. People can sign up for access to the fan pre-sale online. Eligible Capital One cardholders can also get early access to buy tickets while supplies last.

The general sale is set to begin at 10 a.m. on Friday. The Broadway previews are scheduled for December 2026 at the St. James Theatre in New York.
“DOLLY: A True Original Musical” is meant to tell Parton’s story “in her own words and through the songs that shaped her life,” according to the website. It includes songs like “I Will Always Love You,” “Jolene,” “Coat of Many Colors” and “9 to 5,” as well as new songs that Parton wrote for the show…
