DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — The DeKalb County Board of Education will meet on July 13 to discuss the result of Education Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax (ESPLOST VI) overpayments that totaled between $10-15 million.
The district will also discuss the impact on its current projects and how it will repay City Schools of Decatur and Atlanta Public Schools for the incorrect ESPLOST funding percentages they have received since July 2022.
