SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) – The Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) will open the Brampton Road Connector on July 16. This new $126 million four-lane highway links Garden City Terminal’s Gate 3 directly to the Interstate 16 corridor, allowing drivers to travel seamlessly between Savannah and Atlanta.
The project removes rail crossings and truck traffic from local neighborhoods while also providing truck drivers with faster access to the Port of Savannah and a more streamlined route to inland markets.
