New Lenox police have arrested a man they say drunkenly accelerated through a car wash and landed in a ditch.
The incident happened around 8:35 Monday night. Police were called to the Fuller’s Car Wash in the 17-hundred block of E. Lincoln Highway in New Lenox. 36-year old Bryan E. Hammond of New Lenox allegedly accelerated through the car wash gate and into a ditch. The drive was evaluated by paramedics.
