Tulsa Public Schools expands July learning for special education students

TULSA, Okla. – Tulsa Public Schools is offering a variety of learning opportunities for special education students during July through its Extended School Year, or ESY, Services program.

The summer programming began July 7 and continues through the end of the month, providing instructional support and enrichment activities for students beyond the traditional school year.

Enrichment opportunities

Students will participate in daily guest reader sessions at each site and take part in activities with community partners throughout July.

The Tulsa Zoo is scheduled to visit the following campuses:

  • July 13 and July 20: MacArthur Elementary for prekindergarten through fifth-grade students.
  • July 15 and July 22: Hale High School for students in sixth through 12th grades.
  • July 16 and July 23: Tulsa Transition Academy for transition-age students.
