WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) – The Wichita City Council voted, 6-1, on Tuesday to approve a Community Improvement District (CID) to rehabilitation Margarita’s Cantina and the College Hill Barber Shop on East Douglas.
Maple Ridge Boys, LLC proposes restoring the two buildings at 3111 and 3109 E. Douglas. The project includes façade restoration and exterior and interior rehabilitation. Upon completion, the buildings will be leased for commercial mixed use.
The developers presented renderings during Tuesday’s meeting showing at least three business entrances with an Art Deco facade. Bordering the College Hill neighborhood, there would be no drive-thru on the building…
