Woodburn bank bomber sees prison lighting lawsuit dismissed

The light is a little too bright and long-lasting for the man convicted of a bank bombing 18 years ago in Woodburn.

Joshua A. Turnidge, 50, convicted in the 2008 bombing of the West Coast Bank in Woodburn, has had his lawsuit over prison cell lighting conditions dismissed.

Turnidge was convicted along with his father Bruce Turnidge, 74, in the 2008 bank bombings, and has been lodged in the Two Rivers Correctional Institution in Umatilla since his death row sentence was commuted in 2020…
