SPOKANE, Wash. — As families prepare for the new school year, a local partnership is offering an affordable alternative to expensive back-to-school shopping while reducing waste.
Art Salvage Spokane and the Spokane County Regional Waste Ambassadors have launched their second annual school supply drive, inviting the community to donate gently used classroom materials through the end of July. The initiative accepts donations at any Spokane Public Library or Spokane County Library District location.
