Fresno’s Fashion Fair is getting ‘some really great improvements’

FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – Fresno’s Fashion Fair Mall will be receiving some major upgrades in the coming months as the shopping center begins the first phase of a multi-year renovation project designed to modernize the property, all while keeping it open for business.

Construction is expected to begin this week, with the first phase scheduled for completion before the end of the year, staff told YourCentralValley.com on Tuesday.

The renovations will focus on transforming the mall’s Outdoor Village, the area formerly occupied by Forever 21, into a refreshed gathering space featuring updated landscaping, new seating areas, improved lighting and a more inviting atmosphere for shopping and dining.

“We have some really great improvements that are coming to the shopping center that include a complete and total redevelopment of this village area behind me,” said Fashion Fair’s General Manager Joey Elliot.

The upgrades won’t stop outside. Elliot says the interior of the mall will also receive significant improvements, including new lighting throughout the shopping center, the removal of outdated ceiling features, and remodeled restrooms on both the east and west sides of the mall…
