GEORGETOWN COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) – The Georgetown County Water and Sewer District (GCWSD) has issued a boil water advisory to customers in the Red Hill service area.
The GCWSD conducted a major construction project to connect the new Elevated Storage Tank to the Red Hill Water System that has temporarily taken it out of service.
As service is restored, residents should vigorously boil their water for at least one (1) full minute before drinking or cooking. Customers will be notified when the advisory has been lifted, according to the city…
