Lakeside snake theft connected to eight year old boy

SAN DIEGO (FOX5/KUSI) — An 8-year-old boy is accused of breaking into an East County pet store and stealing an expensive snake, leaving the business owner with more than $2,000 in damage.

The burglary happened around 10 p.m. Monday at Paws Place Grooming and Pet Supplies and More, according to the San Diego County Sheriff’s Office.
