SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — San Diego police are investigating a homicide in the Logan Heights neighborhood after officers responded to a reported killing Tuesday night.

According to the department, officers were called to the 3100 block of Webster Avenue around 8:45 p.m.
In a statement provided to FOX 5/KUSI on Wednesday morning, SDPD Media Relations Sgt. . Saum Poorsaleh confirmed the department’s Homicide Unit is leading the investigation.

Police have not released additional details about what led to the investigation, including the identity of the victim or whether any suspects have been identified.
