GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) – A vehicle fire on I-41 near Mason Street left a car completely burnt within seven minutes, and the driver with a singed arm, after the engine cut out and the car caught fire while he was driving home from work.
Nate Hightower said his engine cut out shortly after getting onto I-41, and he lost his brakes. He rode the rumble strips to slow down before forcing the car into park.
“I seen smoke billowing up from the windshield, and as soon as I opened the door, something fell from under the car, and I was just engulfed in flames. My left arm was singed,” Hightower said…
