Birmingham, Ala. — This week’s Pothole Patrol takes us to downtown Birmingham, near Regions Field and Railroad Park, where one driver says a pair of raised traffic islands caused hundreds of dollars in damage to his vehicle.
The concrete islands are located on 13th Street South, outside The Marshall on 3rd apartment building. At first glance, they may not appear unusual, but one driver says they can be difficult to spot at night.
