Boston City Councilor Julia Mejia appeared to suffer a medical emergency during a City Council meeting at City Hall Wednesday afternoon, forcing the proceedings to pause for roughly 30 minutes.
The council meeting, which began around noon, had been underway for about 70 minutes when it was abruptly recessed.
