NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) — The North Charleston Police Department says it has terminated one officer and reinstated another as an investigation continues into the death of an infant at a North Charleston home.
Police said former officer Seth Worrell was fired July 8 for violations of department policy related to the incident, following what the department called a comprehensive internal and external investigation conducted under department protocols.
The department also said the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division has told North Charleston Police it is pursuing charges against Worrell related to the case. Police said questions about the external investigation should be directed to SLED…
