Madison County voters will decide this fall whether to add a 1% local sales tax to help pay for public school construction and renovation.
The Board of Supervisors voted 4-0 at a special meeting Tuesday night to approve a resolution sending the question to a referendum on the Nov. 3 ballot. Supervisor Jud Buchanan was absent.
