SYLACAUGA, Ala. – Sylacauga Aggie multi-sport athlete Corbyn Patterson announced Tuesday that he has committed to Alabama A&M’s track and field program.
Patterson closes his high school career as one of the most accomplished multi-sport athletes in recent Aggie history. He recently earned first-team All-State honors in the 400-meter relay after winning the Class 5A state championship by 0.02 seconds. The senior was also selected to the All-Senior Boys Team.
Patterson’s impact extended beyond individual competition. He helped the Aggies’ 4×100-meter relay team, alongside DeArian “Juice” Riley, Tre Wright, and Zakorien Chambliss, earn second-team All-State honors after breaking the school record twice during the season.
