LANCASTER, Pa. (WHTM) — A Lancaster County man convicted of abandoning more than a dozen animals won’t be able to own another animal for decades.
Eric Werner, 41, of Conoy Township, was sentenced recently on 17 counts of animal cruelty. He was found guilty by a jury after a three-day trial in March.
Judge Todd Brown sentenced him to four years of probation and a $300 fine. He will also have to undergo a mental health evaluation, according to the Lancaster County District Attorney’s Office…
