LORIS, S.C. — Von J. Williams, city of Loris streets and sidewalk crew leader, said he has become very familiar with his co-workers in the last 27 years. He retired on June 30.
“It has become like a family,” Williams said during the Loris City Council meeting, Monday, July 6. “I’m going to miss everybody.”
Loris Mayor Michael Suggs said the city will miss Williams, too. He said Williams had been on board with the city for many Bog-Offs, as well as working the many storms that have hit Loris over the years…
