VENICE — As the September deadline approaches, the Sarasota County Commission is continuing talks of what next fiscal year’s budget will be.
At Tuesday’s meeting, officials unanimously approved the certification of the proposed not-to-exceed property tax rate, 3.3833 mills, for the fiscal year 2027, which starts on Oct. 1.
