IOWA CITY, Iowa — A federal grant application backed by Johnson County leaders could bring millions of dollars to expand health care, mental health and addiction services for unhoused people across the county.
The City of Iowa City is leading an application for the SAMHSA “Streets” grant. If approved, the grant would provide up to $12 million over four years, or up to $3 million a year for four years.
