Lubbock native William Griffith is a young professional who works with technology. At a community meeting Tuesday night, he said he is worried about how quickly artificial intelligence has developed and its lasting impacts on society.
“Please do not hoist our descendants into a dystopian nightmare just because some people can’t write their own emails,” Griffith said at the microphone.
