OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – QLI, an Omaha rehabilitation center serving people with brain and spinal cord injuries, has announced a $22 million capital campaign called “Beyond the Promise” to fund two major projects: new community spaces and expanded family housing.
The center draws hundreds of patients from across the country each year. Among them is Onnika Frye, who was injured in a horse-related accident while working on a ranch in Nevada. After receiving medical treatment in Nevada and Colorado, she arrived at QLI in March.
