Residents worry city-state dispute could impact funding after Atty. Gen. indictment

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) – Some local residents say they fear the growing dispute between state and city leaders could distract officials from the New Orleans community’s needs.

An Orleans Parish grand jury indicted state Attorney General Liz Murrill last week on counts of public intimidation and malfeasance in office. On Wednesday, July 8, all 12 criminal court judges recused themselves from the case against Murrill.
