WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — Three teenagers were charged as adults on Wednesday in connection with a Southeast D.C. armed robbery, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office (USAO) for D.C.
According to court documents, Onyx Austin, 17, Pierce Arrington, 17, and Reggie Mateck, 16, were charged with armed robbery.
Court documents stated that on Monday, Jul. 6, officers responded to reports of an armed robbery in the 3300 block of 7th St. SE. The caller reported that the suspect had placed two victims in chokeholds, and the other suspect had pushed a handgun into one victim’s ribs.
