WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — Two intersections in Newton are temporarily closed after a crash involving a semitrailer.
Harvey County dispatch said the crash happened shortly before 3 p.m. and involved at least two vehicles.
The City of Newton reported that the semi crashed into a traffic signal near Broadway and Main streets, which is the intersection between Sixth and Seventh streets. The city said crews were working on setting up a four-way stop but asked people to avoid the area for now.
