COLUMBUS, Ga. (WRBL) — The Columbus Police Department (CPD) responded to a shooting that happened on Apex Road near River Road on Wednesday night that left an 11-year-old male dead.
According to Coroner Buddy Bryan, the 11-year-old was shot and taken to Piedmont Columbus Regional — Midtown where he was pronounced dead around 10:49 p.m.
Bryan says the victim’s parents have been notified and there is currently no suspect.
