City of Syracuse discusses plans for James Street Improvement Project

The city of Syracuse is giving residents a look at its plans for the James Street Improvement Project.

At a hearing Wednesday, the city said the project will replace utility service lines along with making safety improvements for pedestrians and bicyclists. The road will also be resurfaced.

City officials say they hope to start construction in the spring of 2028 and finish work within two years…
