DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. (WSAV) — A DeKalb County Police Department (DKPD) officer was charged after a reported accidental discharge of his gun killed a 19-year-old Savannah man Tuesday.
DKPD officer Derrick Harris Jr., 37, was charged with involuntary manslaughter and reckless conduct, Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) officials said Wednesday.
