MATTHEWS, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — A natural gas leak is closing a Matthews intersection Thursday afternoon.
Around 1:37 p.m. on July 9, Matthews Police announced that the intersection of McKee Road and Pleasant Plains Road is closed due to the leak. This is near the Mecklenburg-Union County line.
