MICANOPY, Fla. (WCJB) – A family of ranchers in Micanopy have two of the few water buffalo living in America. North Central Florida residents will get the chance to watch them jump over fire later this month.
When they’re not on the road, traveling from rodeo to rodeo, water buffalo Banjo and Harley live at Triple Cross Ranch.
The 30-acre farm has it all- crops, horses, a salon, a church, an area to reenact the first Christmas, and a ‘zorse’- a cross between a zebra and a horse.
