Knoxville man sentenced to decades behind bars in deadly Christmastime crash: DA

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) – The Knox County District Attorney’s Office has announced that a Knoxville man has been sentenced after two people were killed in a DUI crash the day after Christmas in 2024.

During the plea hearing, DA Charme Allen said a THP trooper responded to a two-car crash in the 7700 block of Clinton Highway on Dec. 26, 2024.

According to the DA, the investigation revealed that 46-year-old Brent Andrew Morgan was driving on Clinton Highway when he crossed the centerline and hit another vehicle head-on, killing the driver and one passenger, while seriously injuring another passenger…
